Designed and engineered a highly secure, zero-knowledge digital legacy platform that allows users to encrypt and store sensitive assets securely. Features an automated "Emergency Protocol" for data handover.
The Challenge
Managing digital inheritance and transferring sensitive assets posthumously or during emergencies poses an extreme security risk. Most solutions require users to trust a third-party server with their private keys or raw documents, creating a single point of failure.
The goal was to build a zero-knowledge architecture where even the platform administrators could not read the encrypted documents, while still allowing an automated, cloud-based "Emergency Protocol" to trigger and securely pass assets to verified nominees in the event of user inactivity.
The Solution
I engineered Patrimoine, a cross-platform (Web & Mobile) digital inheritance application. The system securely proxies large file uploads through a custom Node.js middleware layer, storing encrypted assets directly in a sandboxed, hidden Google Drive folder via the Drive REST API.
The system enforces military-grade security standards, including SHA-256 PIN hashing stored in secure device enclaves (Keychain/Keystore), and strict CORS policies. The mobile interface was built in Flutter, offering a hyper-premium, credential-grade user interface featuring custom neumorphic interactions, deep haptic feedback, and biometric fallback authentication.
